Have not posted for a long time. So much has happened for the past month. In December, I was trying to overcome a major bout of anxiety of getting Jr to settle in childcare, I simply couldn't put my mind to do anything else. I was worried all the time. "Is he crying? Is he eating enough? Is he used to the food cooked by the cook in school? Can he nap? Is he getting along well with his classmates?..." The list of worries was never ending. Fortunately, he started to adapt by the 2nd week and now he goes to school without any objection. He is really sweet, he'll tell his teacher that he has to go to school now because papa and mama got to go to work. I'm not really going to work, just intends to take in more freelance work thus needed the time to work at home.
In addition to Jr's starting childcare, was the festivities craziness... my dad's birthday, Christmas and now Chinese Lunar New Year. So much to do.
And on top of all these, something's actually baking.. and it's not pineapple tarts. What's baking has been causing me so much discomfort for the past weeks that my life can't seems to even function properly. It's making me tired all the time, gag at the smell of food, causing heartburn when I eat or drink the 'wrong' type of food, eat too little or too much. Really, all I wanna do is sleep and sleep and sleep some more. I hope this phase will pass soon. Wish me luck :)
