We went on a Saturday afternoon expecting a crowd but it wasn't that bad. Ian got to try most of the activities.
Looking thru the kaleidoscope. He saw so many mei meis!
Mei looking on while gor was colouring his own nightmare monster mask.
A part of the exhibition called the Les rĂªves engloutis – Glossy Dreams in Depths is just full of weird things. It is supposed to be a room filled with fantasy and dreams. But why couldn't it be more of Alice in Wonderland instead of being filled with peculiar things like these? I mean, they are quite cool but it's a kids exhibition and I hope they don't give the kids nightmares.
Fortunately he didn't find the room scary.... and he had that monster mask on thru the rest of the trip.
Stellar Cave II exhibit. I thought this room is really beautiful. The images were made by only screws and threads.
Lil monster trying to do his own screw and thread artwork.
He was the happiest in The Enchanted Garden City. It was like a playground to him. In this photo, he was imagining he was on a boat, rowing along the river, fishing. Later, he insisted that I join him in his boat and I had to sit behind him and "rowed" along the river too. sweat.
Lil monster visited the troll under the bridge.
Mei was having a picnic when she saw the big bad wolf and little red baba girl with her ang ku kways.
Careful not too near, or you will turn hard boiled.
We stayed for about 2 hours and we had fun. Will definitely look forward to next year's exhibition.
