A few friends came over my place for a homemade
popiah session. The few of us spent the afternoon shredding, chopping and cooking up a storm in my kitchen. Too much hard work in my opinion but it was fun. Few weeks ago, I promised one of them I'll make her a Iron Man Bento when we meet up, but I haven't got time to prepare for it and so... since it's Easter, I took the chance to chicken out
(no pun intended!) and made her a Easter Popiah instead. Isn't it so cute, like a space chick in it's space ship made of prawns and turnip. It eventually got wrapped up by the vast popiah skin and got lost in a dark hole.
I also tried baking an apple pie for the first time. The pie was yummy but the crust was way too crumbly. Wonder what when wrong.
