#64 Bento Lunch
In the Bento, rice with spinach, stir-fried minced pork and 2 slices of pan-seared salmon. On the side are cherry tomatoes and wedges of mandarin oranges. Jr finished everything except the tomatoes, perhaps I should try removing the skin before giving it to him.
A friend told me that she never had to cut up vegetable for her daughter even when she was very young. Her little girl would take time to chew the veg and finishes all her food. I wish I can say the same for Jr, chunky roots eg. carrot, got to be very soft, leafy veg got to be cut into small pieces, skin on veg/fruits must be removed, else he'll chew and spits everything out.
The contradiction is, when I give him crunchy crackers, biscotti with nuts or even (almost hard) fried ikan bilis, he'll chew and swallow with no problem. So what's the problem?!
